Powder Coating

Looking for a durable and tough finish for your restoration project,  valve cover, intake, wheels, brake calipers or virtually any other metal items?  Then you've come to the right place! If you're already familiar with powder coating, you'll already know it's many advantages and will never look back to wet paint or spray cans. If you're wondering what powder coating is, just look around you. It's basically everywhere, quietly and faithfully protecting metal parts from the elements.

What is Powder Coating and how does it work?

Powder Coating is a free-flowing powder that is applied to metal parts using electricity. After the parts are coated, they are put in an oven where the powder melts and cures, resulting in a coating that is resistant to most chemicals, weather, and is much more durable than conventional paints. What colors are available?  We have over 6500 colors with various textures and gloss levels available. Because of the custom nature of our business, any color that we don't currently have in stock can be ordered and a sample can be created for you to look at.

Why is Powder Coating better?

Powder coating is more resistant to chipping, scratching, and fading than any other metal finish. Car enthusiasts, professional fabricators, and large manufacturers agree that powder coating is the ideal finish for parts due to its durability and flexibility. Powder coating is also an environmentally friendly process that does not require the use of harmful solvents like those found in liquid paint, virtually eliminating any waste into the environment.

What can be Powder Coated?

Any metal part (steel or aluminum) capable of holding an electrical charge and withstanding 500 degrees Fahrenheit can be powder coated. Wheels, valve covers, turbo housings, intakes, bumpers, bicycle frames, motorcycle frames, etc. If you have any questions on if it can be powder coated, send us an email and we will gladly answer all your questions.
